Welcome to ELM!

A Learning Organization for 50 and Older

ELM is a nonprofit, non-denominational, educational and enrichment program for persons 50 years old and older. You do not have to be a resident of Cobb County to participate. Classes are held in the Fall, Winter, and Spring for eight (8) Tuesdays per session.

ELM is operated and staffed primarily by volunteers. It is an 501(c)(3) non-profit organization which is housed at First United Methodist Church (FUMC) of Marietta.

ELM does not necessarily endorse the information or opinions of instructors in ELM classes and expects students to make their own decisions regarding their beliefs about course content.

ELM reserves the right to require students to meet course entrance requirements (if any) and also reserves the right to exclude students from class(es) for cause.

ELM does not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, gender, ethnicity or national origin.

Remember:  If Cobb County Schools close due to inclement  weather, ELM will also be closed.
